Procedure details

As the largest public-law pension group in Germany, the Bayerische Versorgungskammer is a service and competence center for occupational and municipal pension schemes. It is the legal representative of these pension institutions. The business area extends to the territory of the Free State of Bavaria, in the case of some pension institutions also to other federal states on the basis of state treaties and, in the case of three institutions with direct federal funding, to the whole of Germany.

The Bayerische Versorgungskammer supports the associations and chambers of the occupational groups insured by the pension funds, the central municipal associations and the social partners in the public sector in matters relating to old-age provision.

The pension institutions of the Bayerische Versorgungskammer are among the largest institutional investors in Bavaria.
