Reporting obligations and statistics

The statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder collect statistics in various areas. The ordering and implementation of the surveys are based on legal foundations of the European Union, the Federal Government and the Free State of Bavaria. Public authorities are also obliged to report within the framework of official statistics.
