Public authorities process a wide range of data from almost all areas of life on a daily basis. This includes, for example, geospatial and environmental data, statistical data or data on the current traffic situation. By open data, we mean that this data is freely accessible to all interested users and can be reused as far as possible without restrictions. The exception to this is data and information that is subject to data protection or may not be published for other reasons (e.g., trade or business secrets, security-relevant data).
