Groups can visit the Bavarian State Parliament following registration and invitation by the State Parliament Office. The request for a visit must be made in writing and as early as possible. A program is offered for general visitor groups and school classes. Classes and courses of all school types whose curricula deal with the Bavarian Constitution and the parliamentary system of government (from 8th grade secondary school) can take part in the Landtag Education Program.
Individual visitors can register online for plenary sessions one week in advance, subject to availability. Further information can be found on the homepage of the Bavarian State Parliament (Info Service > Individual Visitors). Individual visitors can attend committee meetings without prior registration, provided that visitor places are available. Visitors must register with the porter on presentation of their identity card or passport. A tour of the Maximilianeum, in particular a tour of the historical rooms, is only possible for individual visitors on open days.
