Description
If your municipality has provided for this in its water supply regulations, properties that are connected to a public water supply facility must generally also be connected to this facility and use it. This obligation is referred to as the so-called connection and usage obligation.
The possibility of imposing such an obligation on property owners for reasons of public welfare is regulated by law in the municipal code (GO). Article 24 Para. 1 No. 2 GO allows the municipalities to fulfill this task using this route.
