As part of the application for a license to practice, proof of training and qualifications, professional experience and/or compensatory measures for the craft to be registered were recognized.

The registration or refusal of registration constitutes an administrative act. The decision of the chamber can be appealed to the administrative courts in accordance with § 40 of the Administrative Court Code (VwGO).
Would you like to practise a craft requiring a license as a standing trade and the master craftsman's examination is an unreasonable burden for you? Then you must apply for an exemption permit and use it to register in the register of craftsmen.
Are you a citizen of the EU, the EEA or Switzerland and would like to practice a craft requiring a license in Germany? Then you must first register in the register of craftsmen with your exemption permit.
Would you like to become self-employed after completing an engineering degree or training to become a state-certified technician in a trade requiring a license? Then you must be entered in the register of craftsmen.
Have you successfully passed the master craftsman's examination and would like to work independently in a craft requiring a license? If so, you must first register your business in the Register of Craftsmen.
