The LandSchafftEnergie expert team is an interdepartmental information and advisory network for implementing the energy transition in Bavaria. It advises farmers and foresters, rural communities and interested parties on the practical use of renewable energies.
The energy transition is a major challenge that can only be mastered together. The goals of "LandSchafftEnergie" are to avoid using energy in the first place, to use the energy we do use even more efficiently and to fully exploit existing potential.
The aim is to establish a decentralized energy supply as quickly as possible that is based on local, renewable resources, is economically viable and at the same time guarantees security of supply.
As a joint project of the Bavarian State Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Forestry and the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology, the LandSchafftEnergie advisory network offers information and advice on the energy transition in rural areas across all authorities in Bavaria.
LandSchafftEnergie pools expertise in the field of renewable energies in and from rural areas and acts as a point of contact, advisor and mediator. In addition to the advisory services offered by LandSchafftEnergie, additional advisory services are available at the offices for rural development as part of procedures under the Land Consolidation Act.
The project is coordinated by the Technology and Promotion Center in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economics and Agriculture.
