Procedure details

The Bavarian Family and Social Affairs Center has an information hotline for questions about the daycare allowance. You can reach the information hotline on 0931-32 0909 29 from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

  • The child has reached the age of one.
  • The crèche allowance requires that the child is cared for in a facility subsidized in accordance with the Bavarian Child Education and Care Act (BayKiBiG) or that the childcare relationship in day care is subsidized in accordance with the BayKiBiG.
  • Parental contributions are incurred for the care and these are paid by the applicants themselves.
