The Public Prosecutor General's Office conducts investigations into breaches of professional duty by lawyers based in its district and, if necessary, initiates legal proceedings by submitting an accusation.
The Public Prosecutor General's Office handles professional tribunal proceedings against lawyers. In the event of breaches of duty, it conducts investigations and, if necessary, submits a statement of accusations to the Lawyers' Disciplinary Court. The Lawyers' Disciplinary Court can, among other things, impose the exclusion of a lawyer from the legal profession.
