If you employ trainees as an employer, you must enter their vocational training in the register of vocational training relationships and have it amended or deleted if necessary.
The register of vocational training relationships is kept by the bodies responsible for training. The Chambers of Crafts are responsible for vocational training in the skilled trades and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce is responsible for vocational training in the IHK professions.
The register contains all recognized training occupations and records all essential contents of the vocational training contract.
If there are any changes after registration, the changes must be submitted to the competent regional authority. The competent body checks that the change is correct and then enters the change.

As the person providing training, submit the application for registration, amendment or deletion to the relevant Chamber of Skilled Crafts or the relevant Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
They will check the relevant data and documents in accordance with the Vocational Training Act. The competent body then enters the data in the register of vocational training relationships or enters the changes in the register of vocational training relationships.

At the end of the process, you as the trainer will receive a corresponding notification from the competent body as to whether the entry, change or deletion has been made or rejected.
