Procedure details

The register of foundations includes all foundations with legal capacity under civil and public law, with the exception of ecclesiastical foundations, which have their registered office in Bavaria. This directory is kept by the Bavarian State Statistical Office on the basis of information provided by the governments as foundation authorities.

The foundation must notify the responsible government immediately of any changes to the address of the foundation administration.
