Non-EU citizens may be required to provide proof comparable to the German central trade register extract in order to exercise a trade that requires a permit or supervision. If you are resident abroad, you will need a document from your home country that proves that you are personally reliable enough to carry out the desired trade (e.g. an official extract from the trade register or an equivalent document). This proof must be applied for from the competent authority in your home country.
If you are a non-EU citizen and require an extract from the German central trade register to carry out a trade that requires a permit or supervision, you can apply for this from your local authority.
