Head teachers of special schools and vocational schools; introduction of company integration management

The company integration management must be initiated by the responsible government in the case of school administrations of special schools and schools for the sick. The Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs is responsible for vocational schools.

Company integration management (BEM) in accordance with Section 167 (2) SGB IX is a preventative measure by the employer and helps to maintain the employee's ability to work.

The implementation of occupational integration management is the responsibility of the government in the case of head teachers of special schools and vocational schools (excluding vocational secondary schools) and of the Bavarian State Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs in the case of vocational secondary schools.
