Description
Administrative staff and teachers who work at computer screens in a state school or state education authority are entitled to ophthalmological examinations. If the examination reveals that normal visual aids are not sufficient/not suitable, they are entitled to special VDU glasses.
The costs of the examination and the screen glasses are borne by the employer/principal. Reimbursement of the costs for the VDU glasses is made exclusively in accordance with the framework agreements with the Landesinnungsverband des bayerischen Augenoptiker-Handwerks and the Augenoptiker-Innung für Mittel- und Unterfranken on the provision of VDU glasses to employees of the Free State of Bavaria.
The respective application must be submitted to the personnel administration office listed under "Responsibilities".
Before placing the order, please ensure that the chosen optician is listed in the optician list of the state guild association (see "Further links"), otherwise no reimbursement can be made.

Requirements
