The Free State of Bavaria provides grants to support and advise asylum seekers and people with a migration background who are entitled to stay permanently.

Within the scope of the purpose of the grant, funding will be provided for counseling and support activities and the coordination and support of active refugee and integration counseling centers as well as for ensuring that counseling is provided throughout Bavaria in line with demand.
Recipients of funding are legally responsible organizations at the lowest organizational level, where the staff is employed, from the field of independent welfare services based in Bavaria as well as the districts or independent cities in Bavaria. It is also permissible to authorize other sponsors from among the grant recipients or higher-level umbrella organizations to submit applications and to join together to form a sponsors' association. Funding recipients are legally responsible organizations at the lowest organizational level, where the personnel are employed, from the independent welfare sector based in Bavaria as well as the districts or independent cities in Bavaria. It is also permissible to authorize other sponsors from among the grant recipients or higher-level umbrella organizations to submit applications and to join together to form a sponsors' association.
The recipients of funding for tasks relating to the coordination and support of active refugee and integration advice centers and the provision of advice throughout Bavaria in line with demand are the umbrella organizations of non-statutory welfare services at the level of the state associations.
The advisors must be professionally qualified. The qualification requirements can be found in detail in the counseling and integration guidelines. When planning and expanding the advisory structure, care must be taken to ensure that a demand-oriented service and advisory structure is achieved throughout Bavaria.
The applicant must provide an appropriate own contribution of at least 10% of the total eligible expenditure, which can also be provided by third-party funds.
A prerequisite for funding for the state associations is that they or their subordinate associations and sponsors receive grants for refugee and integration counseling as defined in the Counseling and Integration Guideline and that the state association performs coordinating and administrative tasks for this purpose, in particular ensuring that counseling is provided throughout Bavaria in line with demand.
Applications for funding must be submitted to the Government of Middle Franconia, Department 15, which decides on them (granting authority).
The approval period is up to three years.
Applications must be submitted using the forms available from the granting authority. A copy (with attachments) must be sent to the State Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Integration in digital form only.

The Free State of Bavaria grants a subsidy to promote the integration into training and work of people with a refugee background and people with a migration background and integration obstacles.
