Procedure details

As central authorities, the district governments bundle a wide range of energy-related tasks. Together with the district presidents as energy officers of the Bavarian state government, they support the energy transition and the Bavarian Energy Transition Team in the Bavarian districts.

To coordinate these tasks, central contact persons (energy coordinators) are available at the governments for all questions relating to the energy transition, e.g. for the relevant funding programs in the energy sector. They inform, advise and network local authorities in particular, for example with specialist events on current energy topics or by exchanging experiences with local authority energy and climate protection officers.

The information and networking activities of the energy coordinators are primarily aimed at the municipalities.

    The "Energiecoaching_Plus" project supports small and medium-sized municipalities in implementing the energy transition with project-related advice from an energy coach (energy expert) commissioned by the district governments.
