Experience, understand and protect nature: Up to 1.6 million visitors a year can now experience the Berchtesgaden National Park in a new way with a detailed 3D map. The unique high mountain landscape with its 260 kilometers of well-developed hiking trails and alpine paths is shown as it really is. All important geographical information is incorporated into the map. An exact location function allows you to check your own position at any time. You can switch between 3D map, topographical map and aerial photo at any time.
This app turns Germany's only Alpine National Park into a unique experience: 13 selected excursion destinations, 41 tour tips, from hiking tours to cycle, snowshoe or ski tours and barrier-free tours. In addition, there are many tips on how to behave in the large protected area as well as several webcams that offer up-to-the-minute images of the national park.
A great function for a tour experience in virtual reality is the "Virtual Panorama": Here you can view a 360° panorama from any location, enriched with additional information such as mountain names and heights or interesting points such as restaurants - try it out!
Tracking
Users can record their own tours with the tracking tool.
