Description
Since 1972, almost all Bavarian fourth-graders have been trained to become safe cyclists through theoretical and practical cycling training in youth traffic schools (JVS) by police traffic educators and their teachers.
Children should only ride their bikes to school once they have completed this training and passed the test. Nevertheless, keep a close eye on your child when they are cycling. Intervene immediately if you recognize any mistakes or uncertainties. Be a good role model. Always wear a bicycle helmet and observe the traffic rules.
