The Bavarian Family and Social Affairs Center has an information hotline for questions about family allowance. You can reach the information hotline on 0931-32 0909 29 from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Requirements
Parents of one- and two-year-old children receive the benefit if they
- have their main residence or habitual abode in Bavaria
- live in a household with their child and

Proceedings
If you have applied for and been granted parental allowance in Bavaria, you do not need to apply for family allowance. The application for parental allowance also counts as an application for family allowance.
