Procedure details

The driving aptitude seminar consists of a traffic education and a traffic psychology component. The government of the Upper Palatinate supervises the implementation of driving aptitude seminars in Bavaria. In order to obtain the traffic pedagogy seminar permit, it is necessary, among other things, to take part in an instruction course, which is also monitored by the government of the Upper Palatinate.

The traffic psychology or traffic pedagogy seminar permit must be available.

The government of the Upper Palatinate always monitors permit holders for

  • the existence of the requirements,
  • fulfillment of the training obligation,
  • availability of suitable premises and equipment,
  • the existence of records of seminar participants (name, date of birth, address, signature on list of participants),
  • keeping anonymized documentation of the seminars held and
  • compliance with the training program.

The government may request proof of this.
