Procedure details

Purpose

The purpose of the grants is to provide an optimal support system for the associations' youth competitive sports. The grant is intended to strengthen the willingness of the sponsors to continue to make the facility permanently available for the purposes of youth competitive sport.

Object

Funding is provided for the operating costs of the recognized federal and state bases.

Recipients of funding

Beneficiaries are clubs.

Eligible costs

Current expenses are eligible for funding in accordance with Section 2 Nos. 1 to 17 of the Operating Costs Ordinance (BetrKV) as amended, unless a different assessment is required due to the special features of the facility's use for competitive sports.

The funding is granted as a subsidy.

The type of grant is project funding.

Funding for operating costs is granted as a project-related grant by way of fixed-amount funding.

The amount of operating cost funding is based on the available budget amount and the eligible expenditure determined by the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, Sport and Integration, taking into account a ten percent own contribution for a funding period. The duration of the funding period is generally three years and is determined by the State Ministry.

The grants are subject to the condition that the competitive sports training facility is available free of charge to the junior squad athletes of the respective Bavarian sports association and other authorized users authorized by the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior, for Sport and Integration in a condition suitable for competitive sports.

Application

The application must be submitted to the responsible local government. In the first year of the respective funding period, the application must contain the following information and documents:

Applications must be submitted by September 15 of the respective calendar year at the latest.
