This form can be submitted electronically (e.g. via a secure contact form using your user account with login via the electronic ID function or the ELSTER certificate) or handwritten and signed in paper form to the responsible authority.
The practical training takes place after passing the second section of the pharmaceutical examination.
The practical training lasts twelve months, six months of which must be completed in a public pharmacy in the Federal Republic of Germany. A further six months can also be completed abroad in a public pharmacy, a hospital pharmacy, the pharmaceutical industry or a university institute.
Periods of practical training completed outside the scope of the licensing regulations for pharmacists (AAppO) can - irrespective of whether it is an internship in a European or non-European country - be credited towards practical training in accordance with Section 22 (1) No. 3 AAppO up to a duration of six months in accordance with Section 4 (1) No. 2 AAppO, provided that equivalence is given. Equivalence must be checked on a case-by-case basis using the submitted job description. For this reason, no binding information can be provided in advance.

Admission to the three examination sections of the Pharmaceutical Examination must be applied for at the State Examination Office for Pharmacy.
The state examination office of the federal state in which the applicant is enrolled or admitted to study pharmacy is responsible for crediting periods of study and academic achievements. In Bavaria, this is the State Examination Office of the Government of Upper Bavaria.
