The Free State of Bavaria is promoting charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in Bavaria.
Electric vehicles make an important contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and thus to achieving climate protection targets and reducing local pollutant and noise emissions. Against this backdrop, the Bavarian state government is supporting the market ramp-up of electric mobility by promoting a systematic, comprehensive and demand-oriented charging infrastructure. This applies to both publicly accessible and non-publicly accessible charging infrastructure. Electromobility should be made possible for all sections of the population and companies.
New construction and/or modernization of charging points for electric mobility in all areas of application
Both natural and legal persons are eligible to apply. This includes private individuals as well as local authorities and municipal administrative communities. In addition, companies, regardless of whether they are majority-owned in Germany or abroad, research institutions, freelancers, clubs, associations and foundations can apply for funding.
Costs incurred in connection with the procurement, installation and commissioning of the charging infrastructure are eligible for funding in accordance with Art. 36a (3) GBER.
The costs of affiliated companies are only eligible for funding if they were commissioned in accordance with competitive criteria on commercial terms. VAT is only eligible for funding if there is no entitlement to deduct input tax.
Only costs incurred within the project period and supported by corresponding invoices are eligible for funding. The valid project period is defined in the respective grant notification.
The funding is granted as a subsidy.
The type of grant is a project grant.
The amount of funding depends on the respective call for funding. It can be defined as a lump sum, as a percentage of actual costs incurred or as a combination of a percentage grant with a maximum upper limit.
In addition, a grant can be awarded for the grid connection required to supply the charging points. Depending on the funding call and funding object, further items can be defined as an additional bonus, for example innovative charging concepts or additional criteria to increase the attractiveness of charging. Such criteria can increase the upper percentage limit of the grant by up to 10 percentage points.
With the respective funding calls, the requirements for the charging points to be funded are further specified, e.g. through requirements for the charging location, upper or lower limits for the charging capacity of the charging facilities or the number of charging points to be funded.
Exclusion criteria:
The project must not be or have been started before the grant is approved. In principle, the conclusion of a supply or service contract attributable to the project and eligible for funding, e.g. commissioning of the grid connection or ordering of the charging equipment (charging points), is to be regarded as the start of the project.
Charging points that applicants are contractually or legally obliged to install or that applicants are not allowed or cannot implement for contractual, legal or organizational reasons are not eligible for funding.
No documents are required.
It is not possible to submit an application outside of the funding calls. Applications must be submitted via the electronic form system of the funding agency. The date of electronic submission of the application is valid.
The applicant can identify themselves by means of an electronic signature. If the funding application is not digitally authenticated, it must be printed out after electronic submission, signed by the applicant and returned by post to the funding agency within four weeks of electronic submission.
submitted by post to the granting authority within four weeks of the electronic application. Applications that are submitted using other forms or application channels and/or are incomplete cannot be processed and considered for funding.
For an application to be approved, the location must be determined by the applicant. The location can be part of the application evaluation by the approval office.
In the event of a competitive tendering procedure in accordance with Art. 36a Para. 4 GBER, all formally correct and processable applications will be evaluated according to an objective, clear, transparent and non-discriminatory eligibility and selection procedure and processed within the framework of the available budget funds.
There are no costs.
There are no fixed deadlines for this funding.
