In order to be recognized as a body for the measurement of radon-222 activity concentration at workplaces, you must meet certain requirements. If these requirements change, you must inform the Federal Office for Radiation Protection (BfS) immediately. This includes the following changes in particular:
The BfS checks whether your recognition requirements are still fulfilled. If necessary, the BfS may request further evidence from you.
After reviewing your changes, you will receive a notice of change or a letter of confirmation from the BfS.
If the BfS deems measuring equipment and procedures to be unsuitable in the recognition procedure, you may not provide or use them for measurements.
