In the non-private sector, you must pay a broadcasting fee for each business premises and for motor vehicles used for business purposes, taking into account the number of all employees. To do this, you must register with the competent authority.

If this information changes, you must notify the competent authority of any changes.

You are the owner of a business premises or have motor vehicles that are subject to contributions.

You can submit changes online or by post. Online - Call up the online procedure and follow the step-by-step instructions provided there. Alternatively, you can also make the change by post. Some changes can only be made by post. By post - Call up the corresponding form on the website "rundfunkbeitrag.de" in PDF format. - Fill in the PDF form, print it out and sign it. Then send it by post to the ARD, ZDF and Deutschlandradio contribution service.

There are no costs for changing the data.

As soon as the information you provided when registering changes, you must notify the responsible office immediately. Please note the statutory notification deadline for changes to the number of employees and/or the counting method of the previous calendar year by 31.03. Late notifications that have a beneficial effect for you will only be taken into account on 1.4. of the following year.
