Bayerische Apothekerversorgung grants pension benefits in old age, in the event of occupational disability and to surviving dependants. To do so, it requires certain information from the new member.
Der Erhebungsbogen kann per Post oder elektronisch, insbesondere per Kontaktformular übermittelt werden (siehe unter „Online-Verfahren“).
This form can be submitted electronically (e.g. via a secure contact form using your user account with login via the electronic ID function or the ELSTER certificate) or handwritten and signed in paper form to the responsible authority.
The Bayerische Apothekerversorgung (BApV) is responsible for Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland.
The BApV is an institution under public law with administrative autonomy and has the task of providing for its members in old age and in the event of occupational disability as well as for the member's surviving dependants.
The pension fund is part of the statutory pension scheme and thus the first pillar of old-age provision.
BApV members acquire their pension entitlement by paying compulsory contributions and/or voluntary additional payments.
Compulsory membership of the BApV is linked to compulsory membership of a state chamber of pharmacists in the BApV's area of responsibility. Compulsory members of the BApV are therefore all compulsory members of the state chambers of pharmacists in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate or Saarland. Compulsory membership of the pension fund therefore begins at the same time as membership of a chamber of pharmacists in our area of responsibility.
In the case of pharmacy trainees, compulsory membership of the pension fund begins when they start working as a pharmacist in the BApV's area of responsibility.
Membership is established by law as soon as the requirements are met; it is not necessary to conclude a contract.
To verify compulsory membership, data must be submitted via the membership survey form.
Special feature for pharmacy trainees: For this group of people, compulsory membership of the BApV begins without membership of a chamber when they start working as a pharmacist in the BApV's area of responsibility.
After registration with the professional chamber, the membership data is transferred from the professional chamber to the BApV.
At the beginning of membership in the BApV, the new member must complete the membership survey form and send it to the BApV. The completed membership survey form (see under "Forms") can be sent by post or electronically (see under "Online procedure").
The survey form is required for further information relevant to membership, such as the amount of income subject to contributions, possible participation in the SEPA direct debit procedure, affiliation to another pension fund in the profession.
The member will then receive a membership notification from BApV by post.
