Vehicle registration - register, deregister or transfer a vehicle online

Citizens and legal entities can carry out all standard registration procedures online. Thanks to the "i-Kfz" project (internet-based vehicle registration), you can register, deregister or transfer your vehicle online using the online procedure provided by the responsible registration authority.

  • If you select your place of residence, the online procedure of the registration authority responsible for you will be displayed.
  • If you do not specify a location, select your registration authority or the online procedure of the registration authority from the list below.

Legal entities with more than 500 registration processes per year (e.g. car dealerships, insurance companies, automobile clubs, registration service providers) register via the major customer interface of the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA).
