Prior to the start of work that affects traffic on district, state and federal roads (also applies to footpaths and cycle paths bordering these roads), an application for the ordering of traffic control measures must be submitted to the Schweinfurt District Office together with a site plan and a traffic sign plan. The application and the attachments must show how the securing of the construction site is planned, furthermore whether and how closed roads are to be secured and how the detour traffic is to be directed.
