Fish protection districts are partial areas of Lake Starnberg that are designated as such by the ordinance of the Starnberg District Office dated February 5, 2020, published on February 19, 2020. The GeoLIS map Fischschonbezirke shows these areas and has the said ordinance available for download. In the ordinance, the Starnberg District Office declares the fish habitats located in Lake Starnberg "Roseninsel", "Karpfenwinkel", "Seeseiten" and "Singerbach - St. Heinrich" as protected fish sanctuaries. In these areas, from 01 April to 15 November of each year, driving, bathing and diving, as well as mooring to buoys, are prohibited, among other things.
