In established water protection areas, certain actions are prohibited or declared permissible only to a limited extent in § 3 of the respective water protection area ordinance. Upon application, exemptions or exceptions can be granted (cf. § 52 para. 1 WHG in conjunction with § 4 of the respective water protection area ordinance). § 4 of the respective water protection area ordinance).
